About SalarioTax
SalarioTax is a free salary calculator that helps people around the world understand exactly how much of their gross salary they take home after tax. No sign-ups, no fees โ just clear, accurate answers.
Why We Built This
Figuring out your real take-home pay is harder than it should be. Every country has its own mix of income tax, social contributions, and deductions โ and the official calculators are often confusing or buried in government websites. We built SalarioTax to give a simple, honest answer to one question: "How much will I actually keep?"
Whether you're negotiating a job offer, comparing salaries across countries, planning a move abroad, or just curious about where your money goes, our calculators give you a clear breakdown in seconds.
Countries We Cover
We currently provide dedicated salary calculators for:
- ๐ฌ๐ง United Kingdom โ Income Tax & National Insurance
- ๐ช๐ธ Spain โ IRPF & Seguridad Social (with regional rates)
- ๐ซ๐ท France โ Impรดt sur le revenu & cotisations sociales
- ๐บ๐ธ United States โ Federal, State & FICA taxes
- ๐ฎ๐ช Ireland โ Income Tax, USC & PRSI
We're continually working to add more countries and improve the accuracy of our existing calculators.
How We Keep Our Data Accurate
Tax rates change every year, and accuracy matters when it comes to your money. We base our calculations on official sources, including:
- National tax authorities (HMRC, IRS, Agencia Tributaria, impots.gouv.fr, Revenue.ie)
- Official government budget announcements and published tax tables
- Recognised tax research organisations
Each calculator is updated for the current tax year, and we cite our sources on every country page so you can verify the figures yourself.
Important Note
SalarioTax provides estimates for general guidance and informational purposes only. We are not a tax advisory firm, and our calculators do not account for every individual circumstance (such as additional deductions, credits, or special tax situations). For decisions that affect your finances, we always recommend consulting a qualified tax professional or your country's official tax authority.
